What the site collects.

The site has a single form, the request for examples. Four pieces of information come out of it: the email address you type, the date and time of the submission, the IP address the submission came from, and the page on which the form was filled in. Nothing beyond that is asked for, and no field is filled in behind the scenes.

The server that hosts the site keeps technical access logs, like any web server: IP address, date, time and page requested. These logs exist to operate and protect the service, not to build a profile of whoever visits.

Three choices of yours are stored in your browser: the light or dark theme, the page language, and the answer you gave to the cookie notice. They stay in the browser's own local storage, they do not leave it, and they are not read by our servers.

Why each piece of data is used.

The email from the form serves one purpose: for our team to answer your request and send the sample dossiers. The legal basis is the carrying out of preliminary procedures related to a contract, at your request, provided for in article 7, item V of the LGPD (Brazil's data protection law). If after that we begin to send product news, the basis is legitimate interest, and every message carries the link to leave the list.

The IP address of the submission and the time serve to contain abuse of the form. The site limits submissions to five per hour coming from the same address, which prevents a bot from using the form as a sending channel. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in the security of the service.

The originating page indicates where the request came from, which helps to know which content on the site actually answers a question. It is context information about the contact itself, stored together with it.

Who the data is shared with.

The data is not sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for their own use. It passes only through those who operate the site's infrastructure: the hosting provider, which maintains the servers and the access logs, and the email service that carries the messages between you and our team. Both process the data on our instructions, as processors.

Apart from that, data only leaves here by order of a competent authority, in the manner set out by law.

How long they are kept.

Contacts from the form are kept while there is an ongoing commercial conversation and for up to two years after the last contact, a period in which an old request still tends to make sense. After that, they are deleted. You can request deletion before that, at any time.

The submission limit records last one hour, which is the window of the limit itself. The server's technical logs follow the hosting provider's policy, on the order of a few months.

Your rights.

The LGPD (Brazil's data protection law) guarantees you: confirmation that we process your data, access to it, correction of anything that is incomplete or wrong, anonymization or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about whom we share it with, withdrawal of consent and objection to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest.

To exercise any of them, simply write to the contact address on this page. We answer within fifteen days. If the answer does not settle the matter, you can take the case to Brazil's National Data Protection Authority.

How the data is protected.

The entire site runs over an encrypted connection. The file with the contacts sits out of reach of the web, locked by a server rule, and the email credentials live in a separate file, also blocked. The form has a trap field against bots and a limit on submissions per address.

No measure eliminates the risk completely. If a relevant incident happens, we notify the affected data subjects and Brazil's National Data Protection Authority, as the law requires.

Cookie policy.

This site does not use cookies. There is no session, analytics, advertising or social network cookie, and there is no third party script loaded on any page. What does exist is the browser's local storage, which keeps three of your choices: the theme, the language and the answer to the cookie notice.

This storage is strictly necessary so that your choices survive a page reload. It stays in your browser, does not travel to our servers and disappears when you clear the site data.

The usage analytics and marketing categories exist in the preferences panel and come switched off. They are there because, on the day this site starts using some form of measurement, it will only be loaded if the corresponding switch is on. Until that happens, switching them on changes nothing in practice.

You can review your choice whenever you want through the Cookie preferences link, in the footer of any page, and you can also erase everything by clearing the site data in your browser.

Children and adolescents.

The site is aimed at professionals and companies. We do not knowingly collect data from children and adolescents. If data of that kind reaches us, it is deleted as soon as it is identified.

Changes to this policy.

When this policy changes in a relevant way, the update date at the top changes along with it and the cookie notice reappears, so that the choice is made about the new text, not about the old one.
